
Modern Kempo Jujitsu
Since September 11th 2020, Savannah holds a black belt at Integrated Fighting Systems.
This martial arts is based on traditional Japanese Jujitsu.
MKJ approach to training focuses on :

Building self awareness and confidence by exploring movement, mobility and coordination;

Exploring a balanced practice that includes grappling and ground fighting, striking and kicking, takedowns and throws and defense against all manner of attacks;

Addressing self-defense by growing awareness, early detection and avoidance, and realistic and practical defense against bullying and intimidation, grabs, abductions and a host of other threats.

Combat Systema
Since June 10th 2016, Savannah holds the title of Full Instructor at International Combat Systema Association.
She is the first female Full Instructor to ever be certified in Combat Systema AND she is the only female Full Instructor in America!
Combat Systema is a branch of Integrated Fighting Systems, and dedicated to the scientific resolution of violence :

Understanding the essential biomechanics to achieve the highest level of efficiency in our movement and maximize our strengths and strengthen injuries and weaknesses;

Discovering the principles of structure and motion needed to control any attacker;

Dissecting aggression down to its psychological essence to learn the warning signs and detect danger before it can erupt, how to strategically avoid it whenever possible and how to maximize our survival odds if it can't be avoided;

Integrating a complete combat system where we learn how to strike, escape from any hold, grapple, apply locks, defense against knife, gun, stick and much more;

Using effectively a stick, knife and gun and how to turn everyday items into weapons and how to use our environment to our advantage;

Increasing our physical stamina, rehabilitate injuries, and bolster oour psychological resolve.
